DSR Pomona II Saturday Highlights:
- 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Championship hopeful Matt Hagan qualifies No. 1 for the final event of the season
- Both Hagan (ranked third), and Jack Beckman (ranked second) are within two rounds of point leader Robert Hight to start race day
- All DSR Funny Cars qualify in the top half of the field
- Leah Pritchett will start from the No. 2 spot on the Top Fuel ladder as she seeks to maintain her ‘top five’ ranking

“Making it down the track in that last qualifying session was huge for us. We had only made it down the track in Q1 and we still haven’t made it down the right lane. There’s something about Pomona. It took everything I had to get the car down the track. I was able to peek up at the scoreboard and I can tell you that’s exactly what the doctor ordered for the Infinite Hero Foundation team heading into tomorrow. It’s all right in front us. I’m really excited about the opportunity we have.”

DSR also campaigns two Factory Stock Showdown entries. The duo is piloted by Pritchett, the 2018 Factory Stock Showdown Series champion, and former Pro Stock racer Mark Pawuk.
